OHIO811 serves as the communication link between those who have a desire to excavate and those who own, operate, and maintain underground utilities. Under Ohio Revised Code, excavators are required to notify OHIO811 at least 48 hours, but no more than 10 working days prior to beginning any dig project. Excavation notifications can be made by phone (Dial 8-1-1 or 1-800-362-2764) or through Remote Ticket Entry programs (i-dig or e-dig), which are available online or on the OHIO811 Mobile App.
